Week 31: Words from the wise...

In my opinion, Junior year has been pretty easy so far, besides the parcc tests. I'm actually pretty excited that I'm almost a senior. It seems like school is just flying by. Some advice that I could offer to newer students is to do your homework and stay out of trouble. It really annoys me when people don't care or don't try to do their best. Also, don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong. Another thing not to do is rumors and gossip. If it's not your business, stay out of it. Other than that, try to have as much fun as you can. It helps a lot if you have fun. The year seems to go a lot faster if your have a good time with friends.

Week 32: Hudson Honors!

Most Interesting Part of This Class: Every day, just because of the fun people and the things we do!
Least Favorite Part of This Class: This one was easy. It was definitely the mid-weeks.
Hardest I Laughed in This Class: When I reluctantly let Makynlee braid my hair.
Favorite Memory From This Class: My favorite memory was reading really good book during R&R days.
Best Thing About Hudson as a Teacher: Her fabulous, dark sense of humor that is a lot like mine!
Thing Hudson could do to Make This Class Better For Future Classes: Not a single thing! It was great!
Final Comments: This year I had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to having a class with you next year!

Week 30: Who are you?...

If I was suddenly struck dumb by amnesia, the five people I would want to help me re-learn everything about myself would be my parents, of course, and my three best friends. My parents could tell me a lot about my life at home. They would probably say that I'm a good guy that plays video games a little too much and that I don't get out of the house much. My friends could tell me about my life while at school. They could tell me that I get good grades and remind me of all the fun times we had together. They could also tell me that I have a great personality and like to make jokes. I think that my friends and parents could teach me enough that I would be back to my normal self in no time.

Week 29: We all live in a yellow submarine...

All aboard the English 3000! If we had a submarine, I think it would be awesome to go to Australia and dive down to the Great Barrier Reef. Then we'd party around in the Pacific Ocean, make a stop at Hawaii for a luau, and then go explore the ocean some more. Maybe after finding a strange ocean trench, we travel down it and find the lost city of Atlantis. We could party with them, grab some gold and jewels, and go back to the surface world. Then we would go on a deep sea scavenger hunt, looking for new species of animals or something. Then we could all go home and maybe plan another trip.

Week 28: With a little help from my friends...

Dear Friends,
There are too many of you that have helped me along the way to single out just one or two. I want to thank all of you, and you know who you are. You've helped me through the bad times and the good times with words of wisdom and kindness. Without you, my friends, I don't know how I would have gotten through the past few years. The good times we had were awesome and they will always be fond memories. I may not know what the future will bring but I do know one thing: That I will never forget my friends.

Week 27: Welcome to the black parade...

Right now, my favorite song would have to be "Hero of the Day" by Metallica. I think this song would tell the story of a lost hero. His family waits for him forever, with a single candle burning in the windowsill to light his way home. He's still alive, but is lost in the darkest places of the world, looking for a way out. Pretty soon he get so fed up with fighting the darkness, he gives up for a while. But then he thinks of all the people that trapped him there, and vows to have his revenge and never give up. His anger and rage are unimaginable, and they give him the strength to carry on. And at the end of the story, he can finally see the light burning in the window; the way home.

Week 26: Words in retrospect...

A time when I wished I had said something different was when I got into an argument with my sister. We were both going back and forth, calling each other names and stuff. Then she said something really mean, and walked away before I could think of a snappy comeback. So I went back to my room, and it only took like five minutes before something great popped into my head. I was like, "Why didn't I think of that earlier?" But by then it was too late, so I just told my parents what happened, made myself look completely innocent, and got her in trouble. I was happy.

Week 25: Theme songs...

Yes! Finally, a blog I can do! Me theme song would be about living life, following your dreams, and never being afraid to be who you are. I feel like I would have multiple theme songs that change with my mood and whatever I'm doing. Like, if I was about to run a mile, I would have a song that gets me pumped up, like an awesome electric guitar solo. Disturbed, Dragonforce, Red, Metallica, 3 Doors Down, and Fall Out Boy would be the bands I would pick to play my theme songs. All of their songs would be my theme songs. My theme song right now is Red-- Who We Are. It's a really good song. You should look it up if you have the time.

Week 22: Happily ever after... sort of...

I really can't think of any good happily-ever-after movies to change the ending of, but me and a friend thought of something great one day. We were just sitting around doing blogs, when we thought, 'You know, what if, instead of a knight rescuing a damsel in distress, the knight rescues a dragon from an ugly, fire-breathing princess?' I laughed my butt off, and it was the best thing I could think of for this blog. I'm really not a fairytale kind of guy.

Week 24: Inside jokes...

The only inside joke I can think of happened a few years ago in high school. Freshman year, my friends and I had the greatest inside joke ever. At random times we would yell, "BAZOOBS!" and we would all die laughing. I have no idea how it started, but I think it happened after watching a n episode of Adventure Time. It made for some of the funniest moments I can remember. I left this school for a while and didn't talk to any of my friends for the longest time. When I came back, though, it was literally almost the first thing my friend said to me. We laughed so much, it was almost like I had never left. Good times.

Week 23: Anywhere in the world...

If I could go anywhere, without worrying about travel expenses, I would visit a lot of places in Europe. I would love to visit Ireland to see the Emerald Isles. Scotland would also be on the top of my list of destinations because their accents are the best ever. France would be cool. I'd want to climb the Eiffel Tower and buy some French pastries because they are delicious. I would also like to visit Stonehenge in England. One of the things I would really love to do is drive a really fast car on the German Autobahn. All of those would be great, but the the thing I would love to do the most is explore the old medieval castle ruins of Scotland, to search for lost artifacts. That would be the best trip ever.

Week 21: Celebrity crushes...

Oh boy, Valentines Day is almost here! Just kidding. When it comes to love and affection, I'm a bit of a stick in the mud. Celebrities really aren't my forte` either, and I don't have a celebrity crush. But there are a few celebrities I would like to get to know better. They would be Cree Summer, Mae Whitman and Christina Ricci. They may not be huge celebrities, but they are my favorite ones. The reason for this is that they all voice acted for my favorite character in my favorite video game series. They also have voice acted for many cartoons and TV shows. They all have great voices and I'll admit that they are kind of attractive.

(Miss Hudson, please promise me we will never do this kind of topic again.)

Week 20: 7th grade again...

Waking up to find out that 7th grade had just started, and my entire life from there on had been a dream, would be the biggest buzz kill in the history of the world! First off, I would have never known any of my awesome friends. Second, I would be a lot less smart, which would really make me mad. Another thing that would tick me off is that I would have to redo four whole years of my life, which would be a really big hassle. I would also be a lot less popular and I would be not so skilled at drawing. I would be so depressed that I would drop out of school.

Week 19: Little known facts about myself...

Man, where do I start? My little known facts could fill a book, maybe two if you used big print. For instance, I'm a big fan of metal music like Metallica, Megadeth, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Veil Brides, and many more. My dream car is a black Lamborghini Aventador with gold trim. I am slightly Goth and a mediocre artist. I plan on going to college in a few years and plan on studying molecular biology. After that, if I have the time, I want to go to Full Sail University in Florida to learn computer animation. I have a sword collection and consider myself to be a decent swordsman. I am also good at archery and hunting.

Week 18: Siblings by chance...

My siblings are the worst. I have two sisters that never stop annoying me. The most fun I've ever had with them was a time we went sledding. I went down the hill, my sister got in the way, and she got ran over. She ended up breaking a collarbone and going to the emergency room. I'm the oldest child so I get the most privileges and I baby sit when I have to. My sisters can be pretty funny at times, though. I mostly laugh at how stupid they act. And they think I'm awesome because I can draw pretty well. There are times I think they worship me like a god.

Week 17: Good news, everyone...

Being frozen in a cryogenics lab really does sound like something I would do, because this world is not yet ready for my kind of genius. lol just kidding. Seeing 1,000 years into the future would be cool, though. I feel like World War 3 would have already happened and the world would be a barren, desolate wasteland of nuclear waste and mutated people and animals. Or it could be really great, with hovercars, holograms, and colonies on other planets. Plus genetic engineering would finally take off and there would be some cool mutant, hybrid animals walking around. The possibilities are endless.
