If there was a parade in my honor and I got to design it, it would be the greatest parade in parade history. My parade would be three days long with feasts, celebrations, and tons of floats and balloons thrown in. I would hire the best marching bands and the best rock bands. I've never been good with large crowds, so I would just sit by and watch and not be the center of attention (I would probably have to go in disguise). I would invite all my family and friends, including the rest of the world too.
I wonder what my parade would celebrate?

Week 12: Roses and thorns...
Over the past week, there seems to have been more "thorns" than "roses". Waking up Monday morning was a huge thorn, along with the cold weather. The biggest thorn though was probably the first chess club meeting of the year. I was the only one that bothered to show up, so it was just kind of... awkward. I can think of a few roses though. Not having homework the entire week was one. Finishing up an art project was a pretty good rose, along with being able to spend the week with my best friends. I think my friends are the biggest "rose". I don't know what I'd do without them.
Week 11: Can you read my mind?...
To be able to read someone's mind would be the greatest advantage ever. If I spent twenty-four hours hitchhiking in someone else's mind, I could learn everything about them; their loves, their fears, and everything that makes them who they are. I could have complete control over them. But, sinister thoughts aside, I would choose to read the mind one of my best friends, though I can't decide which one. I think it would bring us closer; either that or it would tear us completely apart.... But that's a risk I would be willing to take.
Week 10: Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize...
If I ever became a ghost, I would be a friendly, but powerful ghost. I would occupy a suit of armour and travel the world vanquishing evil and striving to reveal the secrets of the afterlife with my unfathomable ghostly powers. Once I were finally done roaming the Earth and revealing secrets, I would come back to my hometown and haunt my old house, drawing pictures on the walls and whispering gibberish to the ghost hunters that would be trying to find me. Every now and then I would throw things, like car keys, just to have some fun.
Week 9: Your wish is my command...
So the lamp I ordered from Ebay arrived the other day, but it was really old and dingy. I polished it, but then a genie appeared and told me he would grant three wishes to my friends, family, or even my enemies, but not to me. At first I thought, "What kind of a genie are you?" But then I realized the potential, and my devious, evil genius half took over. First, I wished that all of the people I despised had the worst luck in the world. For my second wish, I wished that the rest of my family could be rich. With my third and final wish, I wished the genie free of his eternity of servitude.
